ABOUT

All about
SkinPRN

Founded by Dr. Elizabeth Keiser, a UCSD, UCSF, Stanford, and MD Anderson-trained board-certified dermatopathologist.

Friends, family, and patients often have to wait weeks to months to be seen by a dermatology provider.

Often, the original rash or lesion will have changed in appearance or disappeared entirely by the time the appointment day arrives.  This serves no one.  Patients are left with questions rather than answers and clinicians can't help with skin problems that have changed or are no longer visible.

Other times, a new bump, blister, or spot shows up and a patient wants an answer ASAP -- is it a bug bite?  Is it an allergic reaction?  Is it viral?  Is it cancer?

Sometimes the healthcare system has gatekeeping, where the patient needs a referral from their primary care provider before being "allowed" to be seen by a dermatologist... even when the patient is willing to pay for the convenience of direct skin care access and treatment.

SkinPRN is a self-referral clinic for easy, direct patient care access to experienced dermatology clinical providers.  No referrals or insurance needed.  Transparent pricing.  Skin biopsies available.  SkinPRN puts you in control of your own skin healthcare.
